India AI Impact Summit 2026: From Vision to Action - India Leading the Global AI Impact Movement

16 Feb,2026
The India AI Impact Summit 2026, held in New Delhi from February 16 - 20, 2026, has emerged as the largest global convening on responsible and impact-driven artificial intelligence ever hosted. Positioned at Bharat Mandapam, the event stands as the first in the Global South, bringing together world leaders, policymakers, businesses, researchers, and civil society to translate AI’s promise into tangible outcomes for People, Planet, and Progress.

Anticipated participation underscores the Summit’s scale and global reach. With over 35,000 registrations already recorded from 100+ countries, the event has drawn 15–20 Heads of Government, 50+ ministers, 40+ global CEOs, and around 500 experts across the AI ecosystem - including innovators, researchers, and chief technology officers. The Summit also features a startup showcase with 500+ AI startups and up to 500 sessions spanning policy, ethics, innovation, and practical deployments.

The AI Impact Expo, a major highlight, spans more than 70,000 sqm of exhibition space and hosts 840+ exhibitors from over 30 countries, including national delegations, tech firms, startups, and research labs.

Building on the three guiding Sutras - People, Planet, and Progress - the Summit operationalizes them through Seven Chakras: Human Capital, Inclusion for Social Empowerment, Safe & Trusted AI, Resilience & Efficiency, Science, Democratizing AI Resources, and AI for Economic Growth & Social Good. These thematic working groups, co-chaired by diverse partner nations, focus on ensuring equitable benefits of AI across sectors and regions.

India’s broader AI ecosystem context makes the Summit even more consequential. The country employs over 6 million people in tech and AI roles, with an AI talent pipeline projected to grow significantly by 2027. More than 1,800 Global Capability Centres, including 500+ focused on AI, underline India’s growing investment in capacity and innovation.

The Summit’s emphasis is not just on ideas but on implementation. From framing governance and ethical standards to promoting sustainable innovation and scaling real-world AI solutions in healthcare, education, agriculture, and climate action, the event demonstrates how India is steering global cooperation from aspiration to execution.

Ultimately, the India AI Impact Summit 2026 marks a pivotal moment in global AI governance - reaffirming that artificial intelligence must be inclusive, trustworthy, and impact-oriented, serving humanity while protecting the planet and advancing shared progress.
